Role: Investment Team Member, Energy Transition

Role overview:

 We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional in our Investment Team to join our energy transition team to lead our efforts in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities across the Energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, with a deep understanding of the energy industry and a proven track record of successful investments.

Role description:

• Lead the identification and sourcing of investment opportunities across the energy sector, including renewable energy, clean tech, energy storage, smart grid, and related
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, financial modelling, technology assessment, and competitive landscape
• Manage the investment process from initial screening to deal execution, Including negotiation of terms and structuring of
• Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance, operational support, and value-added resources to help drive growth and maximize
• Monitor and manage existing investments, including regular performance reviews, financial analysis, and proactive risk
• Build and    maintain    relationships    with             entrepreneurs,     industry             experts, co-investors, and other stakeholders in the energy sector
• Evaluate potential risks and challenges related to the business & financial proposition and propose possible mitigation
• Provide expertise on emerging market trends as Summarise and present valuable insights and recommendations
• Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the firm, including participation in investment committee meetings, portfolio reviews, and fundraising

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field; MBA from top tier institute is a
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development, with a focus on the energy
• Demonstrated track record of successful investments and exits in the energy industry, with a strong network and reputation within the venture capital and start-up
• Deep understanding of energy technologies, market trends, regulatory dynamics, and business models, with the ability to identify and assess disruptive
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence, combined with excellent business judgment and decision-making
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and other
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and making a positive impact in the energy
