Associate/Senior Associate, Fund of Funds

Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic resource to join us in fund of funds team as a fund manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PE / VC / Investment banking in deal evaluation, diligence, portfolio management, with a deep understanding of the industry and a track record of analysing, diligence and investing in private equity /venture capital funds and / or unlisted companies.

Role description:
(a) Responsible for overseeing and managing investments in a portfolio of private equity / venture capital funds. The role involves selecting, evaluating external private equity / venture capital fund managers who invest in different sectors, stages of growth, portfolio construction, monitoring and reporting performance.
(b) Identify, source and manage co–investments and secondary opportunities for the fund and the Firm.
(c) Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new investment opportunities in the private markets.
(d) Contribute to the ongoing development of investment strategies at the Firm.
(e) Opportunity to interact with LPs when required regarding fund of funds performance / transaction done by the fund.
(f) Work closely with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure all investments comply with regulations and internal policies.
(g) This role will support the sales team when required.

Qualifications:
• Master‘s degree (or equivalent) and excellent academic credentials required; degree in finance, economics, or business preferred
• 10+ years of relevant work experience at a fund of funds organization, private equity / venture capital firm, family office investing in private equity / venture capital, investment bank, wealth management firm in alternates, or similar organization. 
• Ability to wear multiple hats, perform well under pressure, and self–initiate – acute attention to accuracy and detail – Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.
• The role requires the successful candidate to build strong working relationships with both the internal investment team and third–party managers.
• This role can also be expanded over time to assist in other strategies / funds run by the Firm.
