A river cuts through rock not because of its power, but because of its persistence.

Backstory

From Studying at Manipal, KTK and Wisconsin to working in the USA and Germany – The idea of giving back to the country and for its people was a big motivator to come to India. Traversing the corridors of Policy and Innovation Strategy at the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (Was leading the Deep Tech engagement in the realm of Defence and Aerospace at the AGNIi Mission of the PMSTIAC) and then leading the Emerging Tech R&D Investment Vertical & the Team curating India’s presence at the World Economic Forum for 4 years at India’s National Investment and Innovation Facilitation agency, Invest India to being part of the founding team of a venture capital fund dedicated to Defence and Sovereign Capabilities – the experiences have only shaped me to grow and evolve strategies to unlock value for the stakeholders in more ways than one and ultimately give back to the nation. Growing up in a household of bureaucrats and cops, something that left an impression on me was that ‘No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted’ and ‘Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do.’ That has always played a part in defining me as an individual and the work that I’ve delved upon at the intersection of Investments, Innovation, Policy and National Security.

On the Lookout for

At Singularity, working in the Strategic Autonomy Fund – the idea is to help businesses navigate the complex maze of value unlocking in the realm of emerging tech with focus on partnerships, policy and building the platform. My current focus includes emerging opportunities in Defence, Aerospace, Critical Minerals and Industrial Innovation—key pillars of India’s next wave of transformation and in achieving Tech Sovereignty. The idea is to learn and grow continuously and keep adding value to the organisation and leadership.
