"The best bets in life are the ones you take on yourself. The risk is high, but the rewards—growth, learning, and transformation - are immeasurable."

Backstory:
I have grown up in a small town that gained fame only after MS Dhoni’s rise, in a typical Indian middle-class household. Success, as I was taught, meant securing a stable job in Civil Services or a prestigious MNC after attending a top college. With hard work and some luck, I achieved this “dream,” but soon realized stability alone didn’t fulfill me. In 2007, I took a leap of faith and joined CaratLane, a startup still in its early, risky days. What started as an experiment transformed into a defining journey. I became a co-founder, and later the MD and CEO. Afterward, I built digital businesses at the Times Group, including launching Code Gladiators, the world’s largest coding competition.

My career has been shaped by startups, tech, and consumer businesses, with each experience deepening my entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Curiosity has been my constant driver. A passionate reader, observer of human behaviour, and lifelong learner, I continue to grow through diverse perspectives.

Today, as a Consumer Investor at Singularity AMC, I channel my experiences into helping build the next wave of innovative consumer businesses. I want to use my learnings from CaratLane and beyond to empower founders to create their own success stories.

My passion lies in guiding entrepreneurs, especially in the consumer space, where great brands are built at the intersection of technology, trust, and customer obsession. At the same time, I continue my journey as a writer, thinker, and sports enthusiast. I deeply care about contributing meaningfully to India’s growth story and am still searching for the best way to make an impact at scale.
